Hannah is our resident Kiwi strong woman and she has been with Bold since even before it was called Crossfit Bold!
With a 342kg Crossfit Totals score (combined weight of Squat, Deadlift and Strict press), she has a passion for lifting all things heavy, and enjoys competing in strong-woman events. She has been working at Bold as a coach since completing the Crossfit Bold Intern programme in 2012 alongside working her day job as a software engineer in the silicon roundabout.
This year she has become involved with the next generation of Crossfit Ninjas assisting with coaching the CrossFit Kids programme. Her favourite class is the CrossFit Kids pre-schoolers (3-5 years old) who have the best squats in the world.
Hannah says “I have learnt that CrossFit is for everyone, no matter how old or young you are. Everything we do is scalable, a five year old and an elite athlete have the same movement needs, it is our job to make sure that each of them does the right level of workout and achieves their potential”.
Hannah has her Crossfit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and has taken her love of Olympic lifting to new heights by completing her Level 1: British Weighlifting Assistant Club Coach. She is hoping to do her Crossfit Kids Trainer course, and Crossfit Level 2 Trainer certificate in the near future, as she expands her knowledge base.
Like all of our coaches Hannah brings unstinting enthusiasm and dedication to her coaching role, she will get you through even the toughest workout with a smile on your face (well almost!)
